Tonight's meet (Heat sheets and reminders)
I am attaching the most recent version of the heat sheet. Please double check the information, as we have had changes to several events due to changes in swimmer availability.
A few quick reminders regarding tonight's meet and the heat:
1) PLEASE make sure your swimmers have plenty of water and stay hydrated today. Grapes and melon are also great snacks that help with hydration.
2) We are encouraging all swimmers and spectators to spend as much time as possible in shaded areas. The visiting side of the Hampton's pool is the "sunny side" of the pool. Consider bringing tents for the deck and/or for the area outside of the pool.
3) Please apply sunscreen BEFORE arriving, and have a plan to reapply sunscreen during the meet.
4) Swimmers should remove their swim caps between events, as they trap a tremendous amount of heat. (If you're worried about losing caps, you can write names on the inside with sharpie!)
5) Please TEXT coach Tiffany ASAP if you have a change in your swimmer's availability.
