Good afternoon Wynfield families,

A few reminders for tonight:

1) There is NO Speedy Meet practice tonight.

2) Time Trials will run in 2 different sessions.  Session 1 (6:00-7:00) is for swimmers in the 10 & under age group. Session 2 (7:00-8:00) is for swimmers in the 11 & up age group.

3) Swimmer heat/lane assignments are now active on the SwimTopia App.  I am also attaching athlete rosters for tonight with heat and lane assignments for each swimmer.  There are 2 separate documents (1 for each session), so please be sure to check the one that pertains to your child's age group.  Every swimmer is entered in the meet and has been assigned the same heat and lane for all events tonight. (It's the number that looks like a fraction after their name!)  Please have swimmers write their heat/lane assignment on the back of their hand with a sharpie. If you need help, we will be able to help on the deck.  The master list is also printed and posted on the deck near the record board.

***EVERY athlete on our team was assigned a heat and lane--even those who will not be there tonight. If you signed your athlete out of tonight's time trials, just ignore their heat/lane assignment. They are grouped with other swimmers who will not be there so their absence will not affect the flow of events tonight.  

4) In order for tonight to run smoothly, we need adult help! I have just opened up a sign up for timing tonight on SwimTopia. If you go to tonight's time trial meet, you can access the job sign up there. If we don't have a full sign up complete by this evening we will also be asking for volunteers on deck. The sooner we have all volunteers in place, the sooner we can get the "meet" started. Thank you in advance for pitching in and helping us with this!
