As we head into the last 2 weeks of swim I wanted to share what you can expect. 

Our last regular meet is tomorrow against River Run. Practice will continue as usual. This includes speedy meet swimmers. You may see a little more fun sprinkled in for the speedy meet kids. Everyone is still welcome to attend practices. 

Regular meet swimmers will continue to work on techniques and DQ issues. 

Champs- We had to close the RSVP until we as a league get the meet entered correctly by SwimTopia. We will ask if your swimmer is available, then determine if they are eligible. Swimmers must have been in 2 regulars meets ( or 1 reg and 1 speedy) they can either qualify by their time or be selected to go. You may only have a swimmer that goes for relays. We will need volunteers for Champs. We will look to see who has volunteered all of their hours and who hasn't and reach out. Every team in our league is required to have a specific number of volunteers and positions.

Champs is at HFFA on July 9th. 10 and under will swim in the am, 11 and up in the pm. We will host our end of season banquet that evening from 6-9pm at the pool. Yes, it is a long day! This is when the coaches hand out awards, ribbons and plaques. More details to come soon. 

No Practice Monday July 4th. 

Friday July 8th will be our annual posters and pancakes for Fun Friday. 

Later this week Penny Fender, our treasurer, will be reaching out asking for you to consider donating to the end of season coaches bonuses. 

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered and volunteered extra. It is appreciate and makes our jobs much easier.
